Are You Soaring Yet?

Well in Illinois as in most states we have been cleared to go into more public places. ARE YOU READY TO SOAR? All of us have had ample time to get refreshed and built up in our most holy faith. We should now be ready to go forth to be a part of this next great awakening that is on the horizon. We have learned that the church is not the building, that we are the church of the living Christ! We have been born into this time for such a time as this. We know "that where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. "

It is time to brush off your biblical tools and return to church, get re-fired, and get to work! Our work has always been in the field, yet most of us have busied ourselves in the church building and ignored the real work we are called to do. W/hen you read a report that on a Father’s Day week-end in  Chicago that 100 people were shot and 14 killed it tells us that there has never been a more urgent time to get the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ out to a lost world.

What pain and suffering must young people be experiencing that they would become so callous that they have such little regard for life. Yet, for every horrendous situation, there is a glorious situation happening somewhere that gives us hope. My nephew D’ondre Whitfield in Los Angeles, California provided leadership for a Men’s March where men of every color came together to reclaim their role as fathers and leaders. There are churches everywhere springing into action providing needs for those people who are suffering most as a result of demonstrations that turned violent destroying neighborhoods. Churches like Christ Church International in Minneapolis, Minnesota, just a few blocks from where George Floyd lost his life is one such church. 

I could take up pages and pages to describe the efforts that God’s people of every ministry and trade are doing to extend the Hands of Christ to those who need it most. The message is that all of us who are called by His Name have a part to play and He will give us the strength to do it:

But those who wait for Yahweh’s grace will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up. Isaiah 40:31 (TPT)

Yes, it’s time to begin again, let’s stop running around like chickens with no destination and soar into our destiny, focused and sure that we will see victory!
