Oh What a Love!

While I was looking for some good news to brighten my day, I came across this:

27 God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. 29 For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. Romans 8:27-28 (TPT)

Pause for a minute and consider this. That the God of the universe not only carefully wove us together into a magnificent workmanship, but He also planned to bring good into our lives according to His marvelous purpose. He knew what we would like, what we wouldn‘t. He knew what gifts and talents we would have. He knew what people would most benefit us and placed us in that particular family. He even knew that our hearts would want to reject an ungodly path and would yearn to be in fellowship with Him, so He sent a roadmap paved with the Blood of Jesus to bring us to a glorious destination where we would "share the likeness of His Son".

When we reflect upon just this thought, it causes us to know that God really does love us with an everlasting loves and that He has a plan for us that will produce good and not evil all the days of our life.

We may be caught in this moment in the throes of a calamity that has hit this earth; It may seem as though things are not working as you desire, but take hold of the heart that God resides in. Tune into the Holy Spirit that is your GPS (Guiding Protective System). The path ahead may be cloudy right now, the noises around you may be trying to drown out the promises of God, the air you are breathing may be clogged with fears. As fire fighters tell us when our clothes have caught fire, "stop, drop, and roll":

Stop: I stop to praise you seven times a day, all because your ways are perfect. Psalm 119:164

Drop: Immediately they dropped their nets and left everything behind to follow Jesus.Mark 1:18

Roll: We may toss the coin and roll the dice, but God’s will is greater than luck. Proverbs 16:33

May God give revelation through His Word.
