This is Good News for the Gray Haired!

Sometimes you come across a scripture that is just like the Father is pointing something out to you that you need to know. This is the way I felt when I came across this scripture:

Even to your old age I am He, And even to your advanced old age I will carry you! I have made you, and I will carry you; Be assured I will carry you and I will save you. Isaiah 46:4

While this may not mean much to the young bloods, it means a whole lot to one who has already passed the threescore and ten!

Our God knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb. He carefully crafted us into who we were at birth ad who we have become as we grow. Even with that “will” that abides within our mind, God’s purpose for us does not change. He still has a distinct purpose and plan for us, He just wants us to want it!

As you grow older you recognize the many ways you have fought the plan of God. It is only His mercy and grace that allows us to continue, even though we have resisted God so many times. The good news of the gospel is:

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24 (KJV)

What grace that the Father assures us that even in our old age, He will carry us, if only we will turn to Him.

Thankfully, this message is not just for the old, it for the whosoever will, let him come… Come to Him today, repent for your willful ways and surrender to His loving care. He will give you a good life, a sweet life, a blessed life.
