What Are You Working For?

The first quarter of the year is just about over. You’ve almost worked enough to pay your taxes. When all is said and done, what are you working for? 

​Has not the Lord of Heaven’s Armies promised
that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes?
They work so hard,
but all in vain!
¹⁴ For as the waters fill the sea,
the earth will be filled with an awareness
of the glory of the Lord. Habakkuk 2:13 (NLT)​

God has promised that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes; that people will work in vain for all they seek.  What will remain and what will be in abundance is that the glory of the Lord will so fill the earth, as the waters cover the sea. What a day that will be – for when the Lord shows up He shows up with all the treasures that we have stored in heaven. There IS a day of reaping on the way!
