Have you ever wondered if there is anyone in your life that sees what you are going through? Is there anyone who understands? Well, if you feel that way you are not alone. There was a woman who was born a slave. She had to serve her master is whatever capacity they chose. One day she was asked to sleep with the woman’s husband and continue to do so until she got pregnant. When she got pregnant, she began to despise her mistress and her mistress became very mean to her. She ran away out in the wilderness.

While in the wilderness, the woman and she wondered if she would perish. Suddenly she heard a voice, that voice assured her that she would her son would begin a great nation, afterwards she said:

Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, whohad spoken to her. She said, "You are the God who sees me." She also said, "Have I truly seen the One who sees me?Genesis 16:12 (NLT)

Hagar had to return and submit to her mistress, but she never forgot the words the Lord spoke to her.

God has given us words that can comfort us in our distress. Why not begin with the words, "You are the God who sees me". For God really does see you. He sees all of your circumstances, He understands all of your pain. He can identify when people mistreat you and reject you. For HIs Son was mistreated and rejected too. God however knows not only your past, and your present, He knows your future also. He knows that He has a plan for your life that will make your trials pale in comparison to the glory that will be revealed. Yes, He is the God who sees, knows, understands, and can do what no One else can do for us. He not. only sees, He moves:

For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His. 2 ‘Chronicles 16:9 (AMP)
