If there’s ue is one thing that God desires for His people that the enemy tries to insure won’t happen – It ‘s unity! What parent doesn’t want their children to love each other and get along? Conversely, every adversary from the pit of hell  does everything they can to make sure that we don’t walk in unity:

How truly wonderful and delightful
to see brothers and sisters living together in sweet unity!
2 It’s as precious as the sacred scented oil
flowing from the head of the high priest Aaron,
dripping down upon his beard and running all the way down
to the hem of his priestly robes.
3 This heavenly harmony can be compared to the dew
dripping down from the skies upon Mount Hermon,
refreshing the mountain slopes of Israel.
For from this realm of sweet harmony
God will release his eternal blessing, the promise of life forever! Psalm
133 :1-3 (TPT)

As the Psalm above cites, it is a wonderful thing to see sisters and brothers dwelling in unity. The Psalmist likens it to the precious oil that is poured on the head of the priests to signify their holy calling; oil that runs al the way down their body to the hem of their robes. The Psalmist also likens this kind of harmony to the dew that drips down upon the Mt. Hermon from the heavens, going alll the way down to the "slopes of Israel" – (Zion in other translations). Mt. Hermon being the highest mountain range in Israel is the first to capture the dew – then it falls all the way down to the lowest range, Mt. Zion.

Many scholars have used this passage to describe the will of God for His Church. The mantle of holiness falls upon the head of the preacher, and flows down throughout the body – touching eery part- that it may flow together in unity and harmony.

While the may seem to be impossible, what if we turned this Psalm into a prayer – asking our Father to send afresh a spirit of holiness down from the  heavens touching our leadership, flowing throughout the body, impacting the world!
