When you come to the table of the Lord, you have no idea why a banquet you will receive"

O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him. Psalm 34:8 (Amplified)

Think of this! Tasting the goodness of the Lord provides us with prosperity, favor, and makes us fortunate in all things! We are not only privileged with this great salvation and the promise of heaven, but se are well-situated here on earth!

The wonders of our God never cease. When we take refuge in Him, under the shelter of His arms we are constantly provided for with all that we need, and more than we can even imagine. The Apostle Peter says it this way:

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10 (KJV)

We are more blessed than any other generation because we have been brought into a place of  royalty!. Though some would call us peculiar, it is because they don’t understand the marvelous light God has called us into. As it says in Deuteronomy, "we are blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed when we come and when we go!"

What a treasure that we have been given, and the best thing is it is a gift that keeps on giving and giving…
