Have you ever been burdened down with problems? Everywhere you turn it looks as if it could be another catastrophe? Have you ever felt like it was just too much? If so, these are the times when it’s best to take God at His Word:
God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn: when you don’t follow the advice of those who delight in wicked schemes, When you avoid sin’s highway, when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse. For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness. It is your focus—from dusk to dawn. Psalm 1:1 (The Voice)
Yes, when there’e no where else to turn – turn to the One who you can trust – to work all things out for your good and His glory! Make Him your focus – "from dusk to dawn"! Don’t count sheep, count blessings!) Don’t fret because of evil doers – remember Psalm 37:2:
Believe in the Eternal, and do what is good—
live in the land He provides; roam, and rest in God’s faithfulness.
4 Take great joy in the Eternal!
His gifts are coming, and they are all your heart desires! Psalm 37:2 (The Voice)
Give it over to Him, "roam and rest in God’s faithfulness"!
While we all hope things are going to get better. That the corona virus will one day evaporate; we hold fast that the economy will rebound and all people who want to work will get back to work – but in the meantime. – in between time – you can’t make it happen, only God can!
The words are just over our heads – grab them – hold them fast:
Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!…
