Marriage Ministry
HeartLife Marriage Ministry is dedicated to teaching couples how to live a healthy, happy, and fun-filled life in Christ Jesus.
Many marriages struggle with a general loss of closeness and intimacy that can stem from being unable or unwilling to communicate effectively with each other.
Wesley and Neesha Stringfellow a husband-and-wife team, married since 1988 are the Founders of the Marriage Ministry which was birthed over 20 years ago. Wesley and Neesha share a passion for saving marriages and for helping couples build strong marriages and families.
They have a desire for assisting couples overcome the challenges that adversely affect their marriages, whether it’s unforgiveness, infidelity, financial recovery, unresolved conflicts, or the stress and pressures of life. Wesley and Neesha and the HeartLife Marriage team work with couples to help them become whole and find freedom and joy in their marriage. The HeartLife Marriage Ministry has hosted a Marriage Getaway for the past sixteen years teaching seminars, as well as providing counseling for engaged and married couples.
Marriage enrichment can be a tool to assist couples in adjusting to one another’s differences and understanding God’s place in strengthening their relationship. HeartLife Ministries offers a six-week marriage boot camp which allows couples to understand the basic fundamental principles needed in order to have a healthy marriage. Upon request we offer pre-marital counseling to engaged couples. Pre-marital counseling can help the engaged couples find preventative means to avoid the pitfalls many couples face after the honeymoon period. We suggest at least three- six months of pre-marital counseling to allow the couples time to embrace the necessary tools to enjoy a healthy marriage.
In addition to the Marriage Ministry, certified members of the HeartLife Team also provide Life Coaching, biblical counseling, grief counseling, and family ministry.

Family Ministry
Our target is the nuclear family, teaching the importance of clear and effective communication through love.
The purpose of the family ministry is to educate families on the things that constitute a family that grows together. We emphasize the necessity of family prayer; the importance of walking in our God given roles as husbands and wives, fathers and mothers; and our responsibility to teach our children how to have healthy relationships, with God and man.
God’s desire is for the body of Christ to be joined together according to Ephesians 4:16. However, when faced with issues within our own family, being fitly joined together is sometimes the furthest thing from reality. This is where HeartLife can help.
Our Family ministry believes that charity begins at home. We are driven to provide you with tools and services to equip you to navigate through issues like:
- Upholding the values the traditional family unit
- Communication breakdown
- Absent Fathers
- Negative peer relationships
It can be difficult to effectively communicate with family members, not because we don’t want to, but because we don’t know how. HeartLife believes that ‘crisis” can provide opportunities for growth when we choose LOVE & COMMUNICATION as our weapons, not negativity and arguments.
Community Ministry
Our Community Connection ministry is made up of volunteers that have a zeal for reaching people in need.
I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me.
Our Community Connection ministry is made up of partnerships and volunteers that have a zeal for reaching people in need. You can find HeartLife supporters volunteering at neighborhood fests, schools, and community centers. We have done everything from having clothing drives, visiting nursing homes, Christmas caroling to those who are homebound, contributing household items and clothing to homeless shelters, and packing Christmas boxes at the Salvation Army.
We believe that outreach is the very heart beat of God. By partnering with existing organizations and businesses we combine resources to meet the needs of our community.
