Never, Ever, Ever Give Up!
Children used to begin their school career hearing stories like The Little Red Caboose by Marian Potter. Hearing the struggle of the little red caboose and learning how he conquered his fears from "I think i can" to "I know I can" inspired many a child to keep going when times got tough.
Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world." John 16;33 KJV Challenges, struggles, hardships are going to come, but they are able to be conquered, if we put our trust, our hope, our confidence, our very life in the Hands of Jesus.
If ever there was a time when we need to be reminded of this truth, it is now. There is a changing of the guard and the discerning know that this revolution in our culture, is not just confined to culture. Neither does it vie only for a position in the marketplace. This revolution is determined to take front and center stage in our government and in every facet of our lives. The achievement will be felt when the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is dissolved once and for all.
This movement didn’t start ten or twenty years ago; rather it began with the advent of the believers whose faith rested in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Why you might ask. Jesus knowing the hearts of men answered this question and it is still true today:
19 "And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed." John 3:19-20
Evil people will go to all kinds of length to shut out the light. We, who are light-bearers must be persistent in one thing – to stand and never, ever, ever give up. As a light-bearer you will shine in darkness. Truth will be revealed for all to see. Be encouraged in knowing that a mountain doesn’t have to prove itself. Its’ very stand declares its’ identity.
