It Can’t Get Plainer Than This!

There are people who make excuses for not living for God that it is too hard, or too complex. They are those same people who never open the Bible to see just what God has to say. Consider this verse from Psalm 15:2 (MSG):

"Walk straight,
act right,
tell the truth

How plain is this? How can God make it any easier? When You look at the simplicity of the things that God requires of us, why wouldn’t anyone want to do them? Only a person who is bent on doing evil would disagree with the above admonition.

And yet, the pages of the Bible read just like this – they are not hard to understand or to follow. Most of the pages of the Bible are filled with God pleading us to accept His love and receive His blessings. Admittedly there are those who would complicate God’s truth and add-to His requirements, but whose report do you want to believe – an interpretation of the truth, or that which comes from the mouth of God:

True intelligence is a spring of fresh water, while fools sweat it out the hard way.Proverbs 1:22 (MSG)
