A Fitting Doxology!
Ephesians the third chapter ends with a doxology, words that never grow old, and are always fitting for every generation:
20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP)
God IS able to always carry out "His purpose" and it is for sure that He will always do "superabundantly" more than we could ever even think to ask for or even dream. He is God. He is above all, knows all, and can do all! The amazing part of this is not the attributes of God but that even though He is God He uses HIs power to "work within us"! Even though He wants the glory He gives us the goods!
When we are able to wrap our minds around this one-of-a-kind partnership, then we are finally ready to ascertain the possibilities in our lives. We are finally able to put feet to our dreams, release the energy that’s in our muscles, and walk in step with the Creator of the Universe. This is a standing promise, going "throughout all generations forever and ever", and the "Amen" concludes, "so be it"!
