PREACH!

Some words have attained negative connotations that spur rejection in the hearer. One of those words today is, "preacher". From sex and money scandals to preachers participating in reality shows, the once revered position of a preacher has been downgraded in the eyes of the every day Joe to be just another hustler. 

Yet, Jesus gave final instructions to His disciples, of which as the Word was passed down generations includes us:

¹⁵ And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. ¹⁶ He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 (AMP)

Jesus told His disciples to "go into all the world and PREACH (emphasis mine) the gospel to all creation". This was not just for the initial twelve, it includes all believers until He comes again. If we believe in the goodness of God leading us to salvation and ultimately heaven; then we have to believe the evil of the devil leading ultimately to hell!

If this is our premise of belief, than do we want anyone to be ignorant of this fact? The Apostle Paul later explains why preaching is important:

¹⁴ But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? Romans 10:14 (AMP)

Preachers have feet of clay, but they are only the messenger, not the message. We can’t get the two confused.
