Be Careful Little Hands…
Did you grow up hearing this kids’ jingle in Sunday School:
O be careful little eyes what you see
O be careful little eyes what you see
For the Father up above
Is looking down in love
So, be careful little eyes what you seeO be careful little ears what you hear
O be careful little ears what you hear
For the Father up above
Is looking down in love
So, be careful little ears what you hearO be careful little tongue what you say
O be careful little tongue what you say
For the Father up above
Is looking down in love
So, be careful little tongue what you sayO be careful little hands what you do
O be careful little hands what you do

This song speaks volumes about how we should go about our daily living. However, before this jingle was penned the Apostle Paul admonished Christians wtih these words:
15–16 So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. 17 And don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will. 18 And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.19 And your hearts will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord Jehovah. Keep speaking to each other with words of Scripture, singing the Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit! Ephesians 5:15-19 (TPT)
God doesn’t leave us on this journey without a specific roadmap – we would be wise to follow it!
