Are You An Overcomer?

Today’s scripture from 1 John 5 is a fundamental weapon for every Christian’s arsenal:

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1John 5 4-5 (KJV)

We have a mandate from God in this scripture that if we believe on Jesus being the Son of God then we are an overcomer over the things of this world. How do we overcome this world, through our faith!  

There are some serious issues taking place in our world today. When you think that you’ve heard the worst, then something even more horrific comes to the surface.
