A Long Faith!

In just a few days the advent season will come to a close. Yet the virtues extolled during this season are eternal- consider this passage of scripture on faith:

For perpetuity God’s ways will be passed down
from one generation to the next, even to those not yet born.
⁷ In this way, every generation will have a living faith in the laws of life
and will never forget the faithful ways of God. Psalm 78:6-7 (TPT) 

Covid – 19, scarlett flu, ebola, you name it – it cannot stop the plan of God for His people. For even after the earth as we know it is no more, God will pass down a "living faith" to those who will receive it. From one generation to the next, those that have an ear to ear will hear of the faithful ways of God, and will respond. 

God will always have a people. He will always have those who will "hear the joyful sound" and run to it. He will always have those who will be like Moses and "see Him who is invisible"! For the scripture again lets us know:

As long as the earth endures, nothing will put a stop to planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night. Genesis 8:22 (The Voice)

In fact, in the Psalm above it says, "for perpetuity" which means:

per·pe·tu·i·ty/ˌpərpəˈt(y)o͞oədē noun

1. 1. a bond or other security with no fixed maturity date.

We are looking at a very long time! 

So, as long as we are in it for the long run, let us have faith ruling over fear; love ruling over hate; kindness ruling over evil intent; honoring God rather than giving place to the devil.
