Sunday Reflections..
It’s another Sunday. Are you actively going to church? Or have other things crept in to your Sundays? Do you attend services on Zoom, or you actually braving the naysayers and coming to the building.
Why the longing to assemble together? For one thing it stems from the very heart of God:
You have six days to do your ordinary work; but when the seventh day arrives, it is a Sabbath and must be a day of complete rest, a time for sacred assembly. No work is allowed. Wherever you live, celebrate the Sabbath in My honor. Leviticus 23:3 (The Voice)
not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching. Hebrews 10:25 (AMP)
We can celebrate the Lord in the privacy of our own homes, but what a celebration it becomes when we assemble together!
Events are transpiring in our world that caution us to prepare for potential changes that are unfriendly to the church as we know it. However, what answers back to me – the church is not ordained by man. Though he may have tried to “run” it, man is not in charge! It is the Lord’s Day, it is the Lord’s Church – and it will be triumphant in the earth realm until Jesus comes and make all things to worship Him.
I’ve been encouraged by this thought. What God creates, He sustains. Yes, it make different forms, but the foundation remains and will be maintained – Jesus is Lord!

So grateful that God is in control of everything and not man!
