What Say Ye?
As the proverbial saying goes,”talk is cheap”. Anyone can talk a good game, say what needs to be done, even what they are going to do. Yet how many actually are going about doing it?
Talk shows are filled with just that – TALK! They major on criticism, negativity, and the result is that you feel as if things are hopeless. This is the farthest thing from the truth. Our Father has made “exceedingly great and precious promises whereby we may be the partakers thereof“! Our job is not only to claim His promises, but to act on His promises:
Elijah (approaching the people): How much longer will you sit on the fence, refusing to make a decision between the Lord and Baal? If you believe the Eternal One is the True God, then devote yourselves entirely to Him. If you believe Baal is your master, then devote yourselves entirely to him. All the people who were gathered together atop Mount Carmel were completely silent. They didn’t know what to say to this. 1Kings 18:21 (The Voice)
All of us find ourselves in the Valley of Decision at one time or another. Far too many of us we stay there! We sit on the fence debating our situation, we ponder about decisions that basically reside in the question whether God is the True God, or Baal is the master. For when God prompts us to “do” something He has already placed inside of us the ability to do it! When we continuously shrink from venturing out to do it, who are we believing has the greater power – God, or Baal (which robes himself in public opinion, family opinion, doubt, fear, and unbelief).
Say to yourself today this simple phrase: “I Believe God”, and then devote yourself entirely to Him and what He has called you to do. It is for sure you will not be like the people atop Mount Carmel not knowing what to say – you will be too busy working the works of Him who sent you!

Amen!
I am so greatful for being able hear or read about what wisdom God has given to Dr. Maria.
