This is One Prayer That Fits All of Us!

Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what prayer to pray for certain individuals. You know they need a change in their life, but you can’t determine, outside of salvation, what that change needs to be. And the truth is, the destiny of other people does not lie in our hands. Even our personal destiny rests in God’s Hands. So how do we pray? There is one prayer that suits all of us:

I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! Ephesians 1:18 (TPT)

This prayer is something that all of us can benefit from. We all need our eyes open to the light and the glorious revelation of what God has produced in us, and wants to deposit in the world through us. God loves us, HIs creation, with a love that doesn’t press us, but is consistent in wanting HIs plan to be revealed to us.

When we pray this simple prayer from Ephesians for both us and others, it activates the angels to help us with our God-given assignments. When our eyes are open to.the will of God, it propels us into a dimension of faith that helps us to believe for it! What a marvelous thing is unleashed, when this prayer is prayed – life changing, world changing, miracle changing things occur – and to think, all of us can be both a giver and a receiver of this glorious inheritance.
