I Shouldn’t Be Surprised!

There are times when God blows our mind with something that we needed, that we didn’t even know to ask for. The 2021 HeartLIfe Marriage Getaway is being held this year at a beautiful resort. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds exquisite. It’s one of the best places we have ever stayed at. I shouldn’t be surprised, because with God all of our fulfilled hope builds upon another hope,:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. Romans 15:13 (NLT)

God uses every answered prayer, every act of faith, every impossible situation to give us experience that we can draw upon, so that we have confidence in His promises. Each time we see a hope fulfilled, we grow a little more in our confidence, and are willing to believe a little more in what He can do for us.

So while the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, we came here to do battle for the marriages of those here, for their children, and even their children’s children. We are taking back ground the enemy stole, we are replacing broken walls, we are capturing restless minds and hearts and replacing it with that which goes into making a firm foundationl

Join me in praying that the Spirit of the Living God will bring healing, wholeness, restoration, and refreshing for the over 120 coupes here, and will give them an anointing to reach out to others who may need to be reminded of the God who answers our hope-filled prayer.s.
