The Big Picture by Cynthia Means

One definition of Big Picture is :a complete, overarching story or idea. This phrase usually implies that one should think of the future, or think of other parallel factors, and not focus on the small details.

I have been using this phrase for at least 5 years or more because of an overwhelming feeling to look beyond the obvious here and now. 

I will admit it has been quite challenging to even think of a “big picture” scenario the past couple years but we know God is bigger than any situation we face and for that reason we can have hope. 

In the midst of trials, devastation and unspeakable hurt, it takes a deeper push and determination 
to think future and not focus on the small details.  But let’s be honest,  the small details affect our day-to-day living. How can we forsee a bigger picture of deliverance or freedom from our current situation? There is only One Way! 

We must believe in the Oord of the one that has never failed.  And if I’m truly honest it is more than just believing, it is Knowing that our God, our Savior,  our King is  faithful to us His children. 

God’s word is strong enough and powerful enough to bring itself to pass. So you must believe beyond your here and now, beyond your current situation that the bigger picture is Victory.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) For I know the plans I have for you, “says the Lord.” They are plans for good and not for disaster,  to give you a future and a hope. 

As we close 2021 dig your heels in deep and believe in that Great future and hope that our Savior has for you.
