Never Alone…

Each of us will feel as if we are alone sometime or another. Yet, we are never alone, God promised:

5-6 Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote,

God is there, ready to help;
I’m fearless no matter what.
Who or what can get to me? Hebrews 13:5-6 (MSG)

What makes you feel alone. Is it because you don’t feel as if you are getting ahead? That there is always something taking you back five steps when you’ve gone forward two? Are you anxious because you don’t feel like you are adequately providing for your family? Have you experienced loss of family or loved ones?

In the above scripture, it addressed all of these things, and even more, for it says that “no matter what” – “God is there, ready to help”. How can we lose when we have this kind of God? How can we feel as if we have no hope?

There is an answer why. There is a real adversary who will hover around us and torment us with words that will attack our emotions. Thanks be unto God that our big brother Jesus knew him, and provided us with the Holy Spirit who is more than able to bring that adversary down!

So rise up, people of God. These words are not to diminish what you’re going through, rather take them as a reminder that whatever it is, you are not alone – your God is there with you to help you not only get through, but to get through in victory.

Maria
