Something You Can Bank On!

Days of uncertainty are upon us. If we take heed to the news we are surely headed toward a certain fatal disaster. Every institution that was once sacred has been attacked. Fear has replaced innocence in our children. As the Psalmist says:

I would had fainted unless I believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13 (KJV)

As believers we are called so because we believe this. However, sometimes things happen that come so close to our heart and seem so devastating that our faith begins to shrink. There is one verse that we can always return to that will put us  back in perspective:

28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work  together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Romans 8:28 (AMP)

This verse encapsulates the who, the what and the why of our faith. God is the "who". We know that it is He who loves us, and more than that He is "deeply concerned about us". Because of HIs great love and concern God has a plan for His children, this is the what and the why. With the plan that God has designed, what we are going through will all make sense one day. Every carefully orchestrated part of the plan when it comes together will unveil a beautiful tapestry of His love for us.

So faint not! You don’t have the whole picture yet. As I always say, "give God some time" = He will get the glory and you will get the benefit.
