There is One Thing You Can Count on in 2025!

Well we have crossed over from 2024 to 2025. A new year. A clean slate. None of us, no matter how prophetic we are can determine what the future holds Yet with all the uncertainty that is looming before us there is one thing that we can count on:

“And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Mathew 29:20b

These words spoken by Jesus are our assurance that no matter what occurs, He will be with us to see us through, all the way to the end of this age! And that is not the only scripture that gives us this assurance;

Deuteronomy 31:8 says:

The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Isaiah 41:10 says:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“

We could on and on with scriptures that affirm that God will be with us. Yet, there is one thing that is an affirmation in your own life. Has he ever failed you? Time after time, He came through – in the family, on the job, in your community. Prayer after prayer was answered. Even things happened to you that can only be classified as a miracle, because in every way It was humanly impossible. What makes you think that somehow this great God that has brought you to this point, will stop now?

There is one greater than your city councilman, or your state senator, or even the president of the United States. There is a sovereign Lord whose name is Yahweh. As an old tune goes, (that I could not find the source):

“He was with you from the start, He’ll be with you to the end, He’s the one that you can count on, He’s your Almighty friend”.
