There’s So Much More to the Story…

There are some days that a song that I’ve heard before just comes up and rings in my spirit. Yesterday was a day like that, and just these two lines flowed in my heart:

“…There’s so much more to the story,

He’s not done with me yet.“

These two lines speak so much to me of the hope that is in Christ Jesus. Even when we think it is the end, and everything seems to have come to a finish line, “if we’re not dead, we’re not done.”

God wants us to remember who is in charge, not our intellect, not our will, but when we have given Jesus our heart, it is our Father who is in charge of our life and He has such a wonderful way of making dead things come alive!

As we approach Resurrection Sunday this week, it is the greatest testament as to how God moves in our earth realm. On Good Friday the devils thought they have finally given an end to the King of Glory. Little did they know that just a couple of days later there would be an empty tomb, and that same Jesus in resurrection power, proved that death had no dominion over Him, and neither does it have over us.

He is alive, just as He said. Let us go in the strength of the resurrection power that now lives in us:

And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19 (AMP)
